to it's subscribers via dial-up modem connections.
Modem support for speeds
up to 56k are supported as well as ISDN
and ADSL where available. V.92 modems are also supported
by WCNet.org.

It is
the intended goal of WCNet to provide low cost internet
access.
The only 'time' limitation connections to
WCNet are two-hour limits on consecutive connections. A subscriber
may immediately
attempt to dial back into the system and will be allowed
in for another two-hour cycle as long as there is no one
else in the queue at the same time. During non-peak hours,
this connect time is extended.
