To configure Apple's Mail program for use with WCNet's authenticated mail server do the following. Go to the Mail menu and select Preferences.
In the Prefrences window select Accounts:
then select your wcnet mail account in the coloumn on the left.

Click on Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): and select Add Server
Set the Outgoing Mail Server: to authmail.wcnet.org
Set the Server port: to 587
Enter Your UserName and Password click on OK
see the below picture as an example.

You WILL get an error message when sending mail regarding the signing authority not being recognized. This is OK. You can continue to use the server as is and just acknowledge the message, OR you can install the root certificate for the signing authority. To install the root certificate go to the following web page http://www.wcnet.org/help/mac/smtpauth/cert.php
